THE ZAPREŠIĆ DANCES

The Zaprešić dances feature vertiginous spins and and virtuoso step combinations. Groups of young men specially prepared to perform these attractive dances at weddings and other celebrations. You will witness their jumps of up to four meters. With careful observation, you will also be able to see the parts where the dancers use their movements to describe the objects or jobs that the people of that region are engaged in. For example, men imitate blacksmiths. Everything ends with very attractive spins in circles.
