THE VALPOVO DANCES

The Valpovo dances are typical dances of northeastern Croatia that reflect all the vitality and cheerfulness of the people of that region. They are performed by dancers dressed in a costume that stands out from the many versions of women's costumes in the eastern part of Croatia - Slavonia, due to its special appearance, durability and demanding craftsmanship. These original women's costumes can only be seen in three Croatian villages.
